I didn’t know why I had been called for a routine blood test when I frequently do my own tests at home and telephone in. The explanation on the phone wasn’t the same as I was given at the surgery and it appeared a confusion. The good news is that my own result and that by the surgery were comparable. The frustrating things are that it means time away from other things which is why I invested in my own test equipment and also the surgery doesn’t accept test results by email or text yet they happily text me.

Listened to me when I called to ask why an appointment was necessary and accept submission of results by email or text; other surgeries have.
